San Diego Show 2

1 Apr 2005
The band played the second show of the tour last night and varied the set list from the opening night.

Although the set list was similar to the opening night, there were two surprises: the addition of Gloria, immediately after Electric.Co and the return of With Or Without You, following Beautiful Day.

There was also much more one-to-one interaction with the audience tonight, the kind longtime fans are familiar with. Needing some help on his Spanish, Bono pulled up one fan on stage from the 'Bomb Shelter' inviting him to translate 'Love is the Drug' as he introduced Miracle Drug.

'So, last night was pretty good,' he continued. 'But that was the rehearsal. We're still getting to know the songs, we're still getting to know each other, we're still getting to know YOU!'

From the reception of the capacity audience it sounded like no further introductions were necessary.

But what did you think?

In the next few days we're launching a new area where people who have been at a show can submit their own review for publication on U2.Com. Meantime, if you were at the show on Wednesday in San Diego, discuss it with other fans in Zootopia here
