'The Fly? Well to me it's the sound of four men chopping down the Joshua Tree.'
'I don't know which came first, the glasses or the tune, but as soon as Bono found the glasses he knew what the character should be and how he should sound. The voice is over-driven which suits this quite demented and almost psychotic deliery...the whole track is a high-energy sonic barrage but with an angelic chorus. It's a classic example of U2 and Eno interfacing.'
