My husband Neil, when he was 15, went to this show. He had never heard of U2, but left a diehard fan for life. He always says the energy of the band was so intoxicating. He was 10 feet away from Bono most of the show. I persuaded him to do GA at The Sphere and we ended up just as close! He still has the ticket stub (attached). I found them 4 years later and saw them twice on JT in 87.

My first U2 show, they opened for the J Geils Band. Just remember the energy of the band and how unique their sound was. I Will Follow and 11 O'Clock Tick Tock were memorable. 40 years later they are still so relevant and unique. Thanks U2 for being the sound track to my life.
