Joshua Tree

I was 17 and it was my third time seeing u2. I still remember the chill in the air that night of such raw and powerful energy. The band was tight that night. I have seen them total now 13 times, but this show still sticks out as most awesome. I believe there was almost 100,000 in attendance. Unforgettable!

This was my fourth U2 show, and my third on the Joshua Tree Tour. I was in college at the time and the venue has since been torn down. According to my ticket stub (yes, I still have them all!), I paid US$17. What a bargain to see the greatest band of all time! - Sue in CT
