'I Fall At Your Feet...'

'And whenever I fall at your feet
You let your tears rain down on me
Whenever I touch your slow turning pain
And whenever I fall at your feet
You let your tears rain down on me...'

Stellar show on the second night in Auckland with the spirit of Neil Finn and Crowded House in Mt Smart Stadium during Bad and foxtrot lessons from The Drifting Cowboys in Trip Through Your Wires.

Another moving tribute for Greg Carroll ('He was kind of smart, savvy dude, kind of beautiful in every which way. We thought we had adopted him, but turns out he adopted us. He steered us through some difficult things. He became a close friend.') and an ovation when we heard his family were in the house. Another ovation when we heard that Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern was also here, and one of the 'luminous icons' featured on screen during Ultraviolet.

@U2Start interviewed fans on Periscope as they left tonight's 2nd and final Auckland show : “Really good.. the band had so much fun with each other… Larry was on fire! They seemed to be in very good spirits, interacting with each other and laughing and joking… it was great to see Larry was on the microphone… OMG! Have we ever seen that before? …and Edge told a little bit of a story as well.. about being in another band… and Larry's advice… he learnt to play the foxtrot! I thought he was going to get up and do a bit of a dance! And the Crowded House snippet in Bad… from a New Zealand band while they are in New Zealand… us lot were singing along with it!

Massive shout out to Joe O for a strong mix in really challenging conditions with wind blowing sound all over the place

Every performance of One Tree Hill gets me, not gonna lie, but both tonight and last night have had an extra level of power, wow. Greg Carroll shown on screen again tonight

start to end was visual masterpiece & so very thought provoking!! Appreciation to you all for a simply fantastic show in Auckland tonight!

Hearing U2 concert 10km from away #U2Auckland #one goodnight songs :)

Ilmajoki said:  Bullet the blue sky: strong, heavy and dirty. This is a compliment.
dmway replied : Yes, it is... The Edge has evoked great sounds from his guitar on this song the past two nights (and every other night on pretty much every song ever).

‘ a blink of an eye a landscape of a country can change… gods country...'
‘.. It's worth remembering.. in our situation, the U2 group… Edge & Larry had another life… The Drifting Cowboys…'
‘...its not luminous figures that will change the world… its social movements that will …' (Love Is Bigger Than Anything In It's Way)

WHAT DID EDGE SAY - ‘I was told ‘there's no money to be had in rock and roll'

WHAT DID LARRY SAY  - ‘I learnt to do the foxtrot'

'You're The Best Thing About Me' makes its tour debut, last performed in Berlin, final date of the #u2eiTour 13th November 2018.

That was one special night in Auckland. Thank you New Zealand.

Here's the complete set list and if you were at the Mt Smart Stadium tonight, tell us all about it.

    What a night!!
    Live in Auckland
    What a beautiful day !!!
Never fail to amaze - Awesome shows
I went to both Auckland concerts and both were magical. Friday had that first show of the tour energy and just getting to see U2 after a 9 year absence was indescribable! Saturday night had even more personality and the band looked like they really enjoyed themselves too. The start with Larry walking in first, starting up on the drums followed by The Edge walking in and that guitar! The Bono and Adam all walking down and onto the b stage - gave me goosebumps!! Every song was an emotional journey back to my teenage years, listening to my favourite album. I couldn’t stop the tears at the end, as One played while the names of those murdered on March 15 were put up onto the giant screen. Still so raw. Thank you U2, it was a beautiful tribute and the only way to end the show. I truely am in awe of you guys - thank you so much for sharing your music and yourselves with us. Blessings and much love.
I was lucky to attend both Friday and Saturday's show. What a treat! Friday was great, but Saturday was off the charts. Friday was the warm up and first performance in a while, and got the cobweb out for Saturday. The crowd seemed more responsive, Bono was on fire, and we even heard Larry speak!! So many highlights, but I love the opening 4 song set, and love the Elevation/Vertigo energy.

I thought Friday night was a great show, but Saturday night was even better! Absolutely AWESOME!! Would have happily gone to a 3rd and 4th show!! Hope you guys will be back soon!!
What a night, what a show! First off. I want to thank all the nice and warm welcome from the folks i met from the south of NZ. Very humble very welcoming. Im just someone from Los Angeles and you embraced me as i embraced you. TY TY. Red Zone was off the hook. Adam, Larry, Edge, Bono you guys just kick arse. Luv you guys! May the energy and strength spirit always concour. Much luv from a huge megacrzy fan! Peace brothers!
    Never again NZ
U2 was awesome tonight. Bono was working his butt off. That’s because I’ve never seen a lamer more repressed group of people than a Kiwi audience. Bono was begging these people to participate and they sat on their hands. Even when the boys played Evolution only a few on the floor jumped. We were told that we weren’t allowed to stand in our seats to dance. We weren’t allowed to dance at a rock-n-roll concert. I’ve never seen anything like it. I flew over from New Orleans to see my favorite band, but I didn’t know that I was going to the land that fun forgot.
Well I did It! Gonna be awesome. Heading to Auckland, NZ. from Los Angeles. We only live once ehhhh! Red Zone, Red Zone party experience. I'll lose one day due to flying 14hrs. Quantas. I flew longer in the Army no prob. Just stoked, excited, maybe I'll get an opportunity to meet the Lads. Nov 6 departure day. Amazing!
In honor of Greg Carroll: One Tree Hill
Hi all! Take a look at my idea of visiting the One Tree Hill on the evening before the first show and honoring Greg Carroll by singing "his" song: Maybe you want to join!
    The world needs this tour
That’s all. Don’t discount the timelessness, timeliness or need for this message . And don’t let anyone tell you oh it’s a recycled tour. It’s needed now, more than ever . See you in Aukland .
    Double Dose
Thank you all for making sure there is a 2nd show in Auckland by grabbing every ticket available so fast. Makes the thought of 16 hours in the air more bearable by knowing we get to see the boys and experience the locals twice in the communal experience of that ohhhh so special place that is the U2 show.
    Thanks Guys
We took a gamble and booked flights hoping a 2nd concert would be announced as we all have to work for a living. Can’t wait to take my son and his girlfriend to the concert after seeing you in Amsterdam in 2017.
Way to go Auckland! First to get the "official" added show. :-P
