I worked as an usher at the Sports Arena at that time. We had to arrive early to get ready for events, so I was there for sound check, and of course applauded like crazy as the finished, I was the only one who was there in the seats at the time. I still have my J. Geils Band KLOS bumper sticker from that show, as U2 opened for them.
