Saw U2 for the first time at the Manchester Apollo theatre after I went with a friend who had been a fan for a couple of years. I have been hooked ever since and have not missed a tour since. I recall what a showman Bono was and he used to climb the sound equipment (wouldn't be able to now with health and safety!!) I remember some kid being thrown out mid set and Bono stopped the concert and stated that unless this kid was allowed back in the show was over. Needless to say he was brought straight back in to the roar of the crowd. Happy memories!!!!!
