Joshua Tree

I had applied for tickets for the Wembley Stadium gig but these arrived so glad I went inside with my then girlfriend Penny (now married 38 years !!) we had bought the album and knew every word ( as did the audience ) I had seen them at Brighton Top Rank in 1981 on the October tour but of course this was a different scale altogether . I remember them coming on and hear Streets for the first time live , what energy and the crowd was SO LOUD singing every song ! Brilliant memories brilliant band.

Simply the best gig I've ever been to, awesome at the front

This was my 1st u2 show. Wow started with streets, Wembley arena rocked. My memory was new years.The day edge came from the piono to do the guitar solo and his string snapped. Bono took over with the la la la. The crowed supported u2. This was fantastic. Exit was out of this world. Maggies farm was electric and 40 was great. I have seen them ever since. Jay
