I was geared up for this for AGES. It was the first time and I was meant to go with my fried Andy Walsh but he stood me up but sent his friend Mark Lowe instead (who I knew). We got the train from Preston - mum dropped us off,
Mark felt really ill half way through and I was torn between trying to find out what was wrong and not wanting to drag myself away. I stayed put and was hooked for ever. Everyone in Birmingham must have heard 40 sung by thousands of people - we sand it all the way back on the train and mum picked us up - I couldn't put into words what I had experienced.
