i believe the BoDeans were the opening band. they did not impress as much as U2 did. very raw and emotion filled show. one of the best i have seen. i still have my t-shirt!

Awsome show. Seemed almost all black and white compared to the new technicolor shows but they were so incredibly moving. Even at the time I knew that I was privelidged to see U2 and that they were simply beyond any other band on the planet.
