This was the first concert I ever attended. I was 13 years old. I don't think I'll ever believe my good luck; I feel like I saw the Beatles at Shea Stadium. My school pal and I were 8 rows behind the stage. When the house lights kicked in on the opening of 'Streets', it was as powerful as the opening title of a 'Star Wars' movie. I'd listened to 'Joshua Tree' over 100 times by then, but hadn't even head 'Unforgettable Fire' yet, so it was quite something to hear the live 10-minute version of 'Bad' for the first time. I'm 36 years old now, and 20 years later this is still one of the 5 greatest concerts I've ever seen. Thanks for the memories, U2, and here's a pint of Guinness raised at ya's.
