U2:UV Achtung Baby Live At Sphere #29
'Elvis Megachurch…'
'What is this strange orb in which science meets art in search of a good time in Las Vegas on a Friday night? It's an Elvis megachurch. Later it's a cathedral to the natural world. The supernatural world is with us. Yeah. We're at the Sphere and we're feelin' pretty good about it, how about you?...Spirit in the house!'
Show twenty nine of forty at the Sphere and the return of three songs from 'Rattle and Hum' — 'Desire', 'Angel of Harlem', and 'Love Rescue Me'. Before the last, Bono sang a few lines from a song he co-wrote with longtime pal Simon Carmody, 'Drinkin' In The Day', that the late Irish folksinger Ronnie Drew recorded for his 1995 album, 'Dirty Rotten Shame'.

What Bono Said
Before One: 'There's a huge, hungry darkness out there in the world. Tonight, I'm told, is Candlemas… There's a light that shines in the darkness and the darkness cannot put it out. Anyone got a light?'
Before Love Rescue me: 'The next song is like a whisper that's also a scream… 'It's a song we recorded and wrote with Bob Dylan way back when. Now feels very present tense, feels like a prayer for the moment we're in. If you're not the praying kind, I suggest you just close your eyes and think of someone or a situation so desperate that you've almost given up. Because, well, that's' the moment where your thoughts, your prayers for the powerless are almost as powerful as your actions.'
