U2 feature along with The Stones, the Flaming Lips, Primal Scream, Radiohead, the Strokes and forty four others in the UK's latest Q Magazine.

'From their earliest days in pub backrooms, U2 have always worked hard on achieving a sense of community during their live shows...
'2001's Elevation tour subverted the pomp and spectacle of previous U2 jaunts, leading to their most exciting shows yet. Still playing cattle-shed style arenas, they now arrived onstage with the house lights up, not dropping them until halfway into the opening number. The message was clear: Look, we can make this work even with the lights on.
'With a purpose-built walkway arcing out into the crowd, Bono was free to tease, cajole and flirt with his people.
'It's a love-fest,' he said. 'It's the gospel tent! It's the revival happening!'
Meanwhile the band ransacked their formidable back catalogue, imbuing songs from over 15 years ago with a renewed sense of vigour while making the material from their latest release sound as if it had been in their repertoire for ever....'

And then there's also Prodigy, Neil Young, Ash, P J Harvey, Madonna... and 39 others.
