Thank you from all of us in Newfoundland, Canada for taking the time to let us all know how Bono and the band are doing. I am so thankful for the influence U2 has had on my life. I'm 31 and have been listening to you since I was at least 10. The music of U2 has done so much for me, there are no words really. I saw you at the Giants Stadium in September and it was breathtaking - something I have been waiting my whole life to do and finally got the chance. First saw you guys in LA in 1987 and I've been completely hooked on U2 ever since........ I was just a young college student then, and for 25 years, listening to U2 has inspired me to be a better singer, mother, wife, friend, etc... you have always been there to remind me how strong I can be through the absolute toughest of times. I wish there was a way I could give that back to you right now! Thank you for everything - your passion and commitment and honesty. My dream is to thank y'all in person one day!! You can bet I'll wait - when you do finally make it to the Oakland show, I'll be the one flying around the stadium - high on the moment - grateful for all the memories. LOVE YOU GUYS!

Glad to hear that Bono is doing better. With the tour in the US coming after Europe maybe you can come back to the Boston area. Hopefully you can fit us in. Good wishes from all the Bostonians to Bono. Speedy recovery.

While recuperating, you might even have ideas for new songs -- You and the rest of U2 have inspired me in so many ways. Your music has followed me from TN to MT to AZ and now CA. And after you have become well, I recommend that you visit Yosemite National Park whenever you come back to CA. I will definitely look forward to your return of you sharing your life with us on stage. Take care of yourself!!

Thanks Edge for the candid update. I just did the big 5-0 in December and some days everything aches. But I firmly believe that 50 is the new 20 - that's my story and I'm sticking to it. Denver would be our 16 year-old's 1st U2 show. He is an awesome musician and looking forward to seeing you guys live. Can't wait for the new stuff and the great old stuff. Rest, reflect, rest, rehab, rest, write..........and rest some more. Prayers & love to you all. Bono be good!

Sorry to see that you guys have to delay your touring due to Bono's back surgery. Even after his recovery he will always need to be careful and have support while he's touring. I often work with such Volks having back problems and also with post surgical complaints.... gentle effective energetic chiropractic would be a great support for him and the rest of the crew....
