The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum, currently hosting
IN THE NAME OF LOVE: Two Decades of U2, presents a U2 Fan Celebration next month.
In collaboration with fan site atu2.com, the event is expected to draw U2 fans from near and far and also marks the opening of the newest section of the U2 exhibit. Artwork from graphic designer Steve Averill and his Dublin-based team at FOUR5ONE studios, who have been working with U2 from the very beginning, will be featured on the Museum's Fourth Floor.
The exhibit will include album cover concepts that have never been used 'as well as many other looks that U2 has gone through'.
Other entertainment during the day will include U2 collectibles and merchandise on display and offered for sale, a video confessional booth and performances by the all-girl U2 tribute band EXIT.
The event, on Saturday June 14th, is FREE with Museum admission and will take place during Museum hours, 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
