'Changing Up...'

21 Jul 2010675
A few months back, when the tour was due to open in the US, Edge mentioned that the band were thinking of 'changing things up' in the set list.

So that got you thinking. And you told us about songs you'd like them to put into the new leg of the tour - an unplayed track from 'No Line' or a classic from an earlier album.

But it's summer now, the tour opens in Europe and maybe you've changed your mind.

So how about telling us about two songs you'd love to see in the set in 2010... that weren't in the show in 2009?

Here's what you were saying last time we asked.

And click on a city in these 2009 dates to remind yourself what was in the set list last year.

Two songs only - and why you want to hear them. Over to you.

FEZ-BEING BORN and ACROBAT
I already sent a comment yesterday, but I don;t see it here...I would love to hear FEZ-BEING BORN and ACROBAT live in concert, because both songs reveal U2´s experimental side and they both show the band´s ambition and courage to experiment with new sonic possibilities. These tracks are full of big energy, deep emotion, passion and restlessness, but they also create much atmosphere. I absolutely love the rhythm and guitar sound of ACROBAT. With subtle Arabian influences being woven into the music FEZ-BEING BORN definitely belongs to my favourite tracks. Evoking strong images this piece really takes me to different places full of imagination. Greetings from Austria!

Just Two!
Ive been watching U2's other DVDs and I really would like to see them add 'Gone' and 'Exit' to their set list. Great songs live! There's just too many to chose from! Why not play at least a song from every album? That would be great.

Acrobat and God's Country
Acrobat is a song that deserves to be a cornerstone of the live shows - its a stand-out on what is an exceptional album even by U2 standards. Would be amazing to finally hear it at a gig - so atmospheric. Like Bad it is a song that just encapsulates what the band are capable of at their very finest - genius. And for me God's Country just distils the Joshua Tree into a single song beautifully... Please play them in Paris! (If not those I'd happily take The Fly, Please, Electrical Storm, Drowning Man or Wire)....

Dancefloor ?
For a "dancefloor" beginning, Crazy + Mofo + Discotheque !!! Easier : A sort of Homecoming and "Two hearts beat as one" :-)
