Falling For Danny

The first Daniel Lanois solo album in ten years features a collaboration with Bono.

'Falling at Your Feet,' which Bono co-wrote with Lanois, made its debut on the soundtrack to the Million Dollar Hotel movie and is one of 13 tracks on Shine, released in April.

Lanois, best known for his production duties with U2, Peter Gabriel, Bob Dylan, Emmylou Harris and others, also produced himself ­ and played most of the instruments. As well as Bono, Danny also called on some other previous collaborators including Emmylou Harris who sings on the opening track, 'I Love You'.

'I wanted the album to be one of those that you put on and you never take off, said Lanois . 'I wanted it to have songs that could be embraced by all -- popular songs -- and also mystery songs, snapshot songs, smaller songs, and I wanted to include tripped-out psychedelic instrumentals that take people on a journey.'
