Idyll Worship

21 Sep 2006
Is the title of a new exhibition in London by photographer Kevin Westenberg. The band have signed one of his shots from the Vertigo Tour to raise money for Concern Worldwide.

The print, featuring Bono lying on stage shaking hands with a fan during a show in Phoenix Arizona, will be auctioned for Concern Worldwide, a charity dedicated to the elimination of suffering in the world's poorest countries.

From tomorrow until the end of October, this signed image will feature in Westenberg's 'Idyll Worship' exhibition at London's Blink Gallery, which features the most provocative and electrifying images of his musical heroes.

Auction bids will be taken on the one-off print throughout the exhibition, with the highest bidder walking away with the framed print - surely the best investment in rock' n' roll you would ever hope to make!

All the proceeds will be donated by Kevin to Concern Worldwide.

EXHIBITION OPEN: 22ND SEPTEMBER - 28TH OCTOBER 2006 BLINK GALLERY, 11 POLAND ST, LONDON, W1
