I come to this site all of the time, but just signed up for a membership so I couldpostan answer tothis question. Those are three of U2's best songs and they never get played! This is a great topic and I could talk about it all day.
I saw someone else wrote 'if god would send his angles'- good choice! That is a great song, which U2 should redo and put on another album. It never gets any attention because it is on pop, but it is a great song!

I know you only said we could pick one but there's a few I need to stick up for: Wire, Indian Summer Sky, Acrobat, Last Night on Earth, Mofo, Tryin' to Throw Your Arms..., God Part II, and New York, Sorry its such an exhausting list but U2's lesser known songs are completely brilliant! Can't wait!

I think "Starring at the Sun" would make my night complete...!! But also "Whose gonna ride your Wild horses" would be fantastic. I have heart it in Dublin in 2005... hearing The Edge play the gitar-riddle in the stadium while we were still in the cue outsite was amazing!!!

Last timeout we were in the Jurys inn hotel heathrow,the morning after the night before Vertigo tour,looking forward to the day and we were all speculating to what songs the boys were gona play...and i turned to say... who's gona ride your wild horses,and low and behold it came true...awsome

So I'm torn. Bad is an absolute, unadulterated u2 classic . Hawkmoon 269 is one of my person favorites, powerful and compelling. I think both songs would fit in thematically with music from NLOTH because both songs have the elements of longing, love , passion and brokeness.
