It's Less Than A Month

Last time out they floored everyone when they brought back tracks like Electric Co and An Cat Dubh from Boy - and they sounded good as new. Did it get you thinking about other tracks from the back-catalogue you'd love to see in the set?

With less than a month to go until opening night, there's lots of chat online about set lists. So let's say you had the chance to put one song into the show. An overlooked classic from the eighties? An underrated gem from the nineties? Something from Boy, or something from 'Bomb'.

Name that tune.... and tell us why ?

I agree with the votes for song like Trip Though Your Wire, Ultraviolet, and Drowning Man, but I have to say my TOP vote is for Wire. Please play it !!!! It has so much "drive" in it, and I'd love to experience it live. I might pass out though...

my beloved U2.com, thank you: what an awesome idea!! I'm all for SECONDS, from war, for it's punchy beat and lyrics; MLK, as one of the ending mantras; the MUST-HAVES are BAD, ELECTRICAL STORM, LEMON, STAY,and CITY OF BLINDING LIGHTS

The new album echoes the sounds from the UF. Please give us some UF songs other than Pride. Maybe a trilogy (like Boy/AB last tour)? Bad, Wire, the Unforgettable Fire. That would melt my mind.

OK, how about "The Sweetest Thing"?? I would also LOVE to see Bono and the Edge play "40" at the end. Saw that in Seattle at the end of the Zooropa Tour - classic. This Alaskan is going to DUBLIN to see the world's greatest band! Woo-Hoo!

"Boy/Girl" or "Some days are Better than Others"...the latter being a tune Ihear in myheadoften during these tough times...and 2 gems that I've never heard live. Make room in the set list by removing "Pride", "Streets", and/or "With or Without You". Love all three of those tunes, butno need to play them every singlenight with so many others to choose from.

Let's hope they go back to their roots. A "red rocks"style performance would be magnificient. Would like to see them play Gloria (so good live), Out of Control, Tomorrow (with bag pipes in Scotland), one tree hill, part girl. A couple of them would be special. Here's for hoping

I'd love to hear a song that hasn't been played, something that was pretty much dropped after one tour (if it was ever played at all). Wire would be a good choice from the 80s, but I'd love to hear more from the 90s. Ultimate selection: Acrobat or Ultraviolet

Someone mentioned "The Three Sunrises" -- good choice, because The Edge can pre-heat his guitar on that for "Magnificent" (smile) I'd like to hear "Walk to the Water" and "White as Snow" with guest Natalie Merchant (any doubters can check out "Red Rain" with Gabriel, Merchant and Stipe on youtube)

I'd love to see them play "Two Hearts Beat as One" - it's one of my favorite songs and since I never saw U2 until ZooTV, I've never seen it live.

"The Unforgettable Fire", "Zooropa", "Rejoice"...all amazing songs and I think they'd fit in nicely with the sound of the new album, especially "The Unforgettable Fire".

ZOO TV and POPMART was their best period ever.. Whatever they play from the three albums of this period, would be just amazing. Love is Blindness, Stay, Staring at the Sun. All three in acoustic version, in the middle of the stadium...

Our son is Autistic & Non Verbal. I want to trip into your head and spend the day there, hear the things you haven't said and see what you might see, I want to hear you when you call Do you feel anything at all? I want to see your thoughts take shape And walk right out Freedom has a scent Like the top of a newborn baby's head The songs are in your eyes I see them when you smile I've seen enough I'm not giving up On a miracle drug
