Join the Brian Eno WebWheel

U2.COM presents another exclusive with an opportunity to hear a full-length track from Brian Eno and Peter J. Schwalm's forthcoming album, 'Drawn From Life'.

U2.COM is part of a webwheel bringing web users eight tracks from the album. Our track is Like Pictures Part 1.

An acclaimed figure in modern music, Brian Eno began his career in Roxy Music. After leaving the band in 1973, he went solo, recording seminal albums like 1974's 'Here Come The Warm Jets' and 1979's 'Music For Airports'.

His pioneering soundscapes were a massive influence on contemporary ambient artists like Aphex Twin. In the late 1970s he worked on David Bowie's 'Berlin trilogy' of albums and with Talking Heads.

As well as continuing his solo work, he has also been involved in producing U2's The Joshua Tree, Achtung Baby and, most recently, All That You Can't Leave Behind.

The new album 'Drawn From Life' sees Eno team up with German DJ Peter J. Schwalm for an evocative series of soundscapes. The album is just out.

(A webwheel works by having a number of different sites streaming different tracks from the album. There are 8 tracks and 8 sites and each site links to each other.)
