Joy In Studio With Jagger

11 Nov 2001
Bono is one of a number of artists to perform with Mick Jagger on his new solo album Goddess In The Doorway.

And you can hear JOY, the track the pair sing together, by visiting mickjagger.com.
The song is described on the site as 'spirited 21st Century gospel' with Jagger 'driving a four wheel drive looking for Buddha'.

'Bono was great,' explains the Rolling Stone mainman. 'And I had a good time writing with other people, like 'Visions of Paradise' with Rob Thomas. You get a different feeling when you write with someone else, in the end a different song comes up."

Bono and Jagger travelled to Germany earlier in the summer for the production, a trip captured by the documentary team behind 'Being Mick', which will air on Thursday, November 22nd on ABC in the U.S. and on Channel 4 in the U.K. Along with Bono, the Jagger special also features appearances by Pete Townshend, Wyclef Jean and Lenny Kravitz.
