Million Dollar Hotel Follows U2 To Lexington

3 May 2001
The movie Million Dollar Hotel, based on a story by Bono, visits Lexington, KY, tonight (Friday) and Saturday.

The critically acclaimed film, directed by Wim Wenders and starring Mel Gibson, has opened widescreen in just two US cities to date - New York and Los Angeles.

But to mark U2's Elevation 2001 stop in the city, the film is being shown tomorrow night after the show at the Kentucky Theatre, just a block away from the concert venue. It starts at midnight.

And it's aired again on Saturday night too.

Who knows, if you're in town for the U2 show, you might meet up with a lot more U2 fans at the movie. You might even catch a blink-and-you-miss-it silver-screen cameo from Bono.
