More U2 Propaganda in January

24 Dec 2000
The latest edition of U2's official magazine Propaganda, is set for January publication.

This edition, which follows the best-selling Hasta la Vista issue, with the free live CD from the Mexico shows, includes an exclusive interview with Adam, a report from the shooting of the Beautiful Day video in Paris and an interview with P.J. Harvey.

There is also comprehensive coverage of the journey of All That You Can't Leave Behind from studio to shops.

Fans unfamiliar with Propaganda, which has been published by the band since the mid-1980's, can access some of the archive material by visiting Propaganda online.

Latest article to come online is an interview with Edge conducted while the new album was being made. He talks about the next single - a year before it was released - and about a new song which hasn't yet made the light of day. 'Any tracks which stand out at this stage?'

'Stuck In A Moment You Can't Get Out Of is very strong because it's so unusual: it's like an incredible pop song, but done by us and done our way so it sounds like a U2 song but it's incredibly melodic and also has this gospel aspect. Another track called Home is going to be a stand-out, very uplifting and beautiful. There's a tune called Elevation which has an almost hip-hop groove -- but being played by us doesn't sound like anything out there......'
