Showtime 2011

10 Feb 2011283
This tour started way back in June 2009 and now here we are in February 2011.

But every time the tour opens up on a new leg, the band, as Edge says, think about 'changing things up'.

Last year, hundreds of you told us of  songs you'd like them to put into the European leg - an unplayed track from 'No Line' or a classic from an earlier album.

But no-one could have guessed that a handful of unreleased tracks - North Star, Return of the Stingray Guitar, Glastonbury etc - would arrive in the show nor that Love Rescue Me, which hadn't been performed for twenty years, would make a reappearance down under.

The year before no-one predicted that Ultraviolet or Hold Me Thrill Me Kiss Me Kill Me would become 360 showstoppers.

So what would be a great surprise to hear in the show in 2011?

Let's do what we did last year: what's a songs you'd love to see in the set, that hasn't turned up on the tour to date ? One song only and why you'd love to hear it.

(Click on a city in these 2009 or 2010 dates to remind yourself what songs have been in the set in the tour so far.)

FEZ
Fez would be an amazing opening to the show. Or at least opening the last encore. Just the idea of it being in one of those two spots in the set would be fantastic.

Kite
I'd love to hear "Kite" from All that you can't leave behind, because this song opens my heart from past to future in a few seconds... it's so beautiful and graceful... I will be in all 3 Brazilian concerts with my brother... since the first time here in Brazil, we went in all Sao Paulo concerts!!!! Then, pelase, open a new Sao Paulo date quickly!!!! Flavox

LEMON
I know it's very difficult for Bono sing her, but this is my dream to see Bono singing this song again.

Mofo
This song would do wonders with the claw, it would do wonders with the audience, and it would just be a jaw dropper in terms of surprises the band could break out in the setlist.

The Fly
One of the best songs of the Achtung Baby.

Last Night On Earth
Pop has been shamefully omitted from this tour, yet I feel it has similarities to No Line On The Horizon. Last Night On Earth may not be my favourite track from the album, but I think it suits the 360 set-up: imagine Bono and Edge sharing the chorus from each bridge!

Let's see.....
First of all, thank you for "The Unforgettable Fire" in 2009. I had been whining about wanting to hear that on the Larry board for years and to finally get to see it and sing it at the top of my lungs at a show was amazing. As for something that has not been played, I'm gonna say that I would love to hear "Gloria" live. It's the song that made me fall in love with the band and I have never experienced it live.

Acrobat
i have to follow , Acrobat, for me, too, it is one of the songs from ' Achtung baby' so rich of feeling, and if it has never been played live, i think it would be a great impact.

ACROBAT
because it was never played live and it's one of the best songs overall!
