The Works

30 Jan 20173

RTÉ One’s arts series The Works Presents returns to Irish screens this week with Adam the subject of the opening episode.

In the series, John Kelly will meet key figures from the worlds of film, literature, music, theatre and the visual arts, including Academy Award nominated cinematographer Seamus McGarvey, multimedia artist Laurie Anderson, acclaimed theatre actress Fiona Shaw and Grace Coddington, Creative Director at American Vogue.

In tomorrow’s episode Adam reflects on how touring the world with U2 in the 1980’s deepened his appreciation for art and architecture, helping him see 'the bigger conversation that art is having with itself.’

If you’re in Ireland catch The Works Presents tomorrow night, Tuesday 31January, at 23.10.  More here.

UPDATE: You can now watch the programme on RTE's international player here.
