U2 Go Home

23 Jul 200935
Tomorrow the band arrive in Dublin for the first of three shows on home territory. Edge sat down with us before the second show in Amsterdam and told us about the 'magic' of playing at home and why it is that fans travel from all over the world to see the band play in the city.

Going to be at one of the Dublin shows? Seen the band before in the city? What's it got that makes a U2 show that bit more special ?

First time in Dublin
Heading over from Scotland tonight for all 3 Croke gigs...first time seeing the boys in Dublin, also first time I've ever been in GA, it's gonna be an amazing experience!
So Excited
I have seen U2 twice: the Joshua Tree tour at the old Croke Pk and Rattle and Hum at the old Point!!! Can't WAIT to see U2 rock the new Croker tomorrow night!! Welcome home lads!!

U2 @ Home are best
I've seen U2 in the RDS/Lansdowne Rd/Slane and Croke Park and the atmosphere is always magic. I hope they'll play Bad on Saturday night (I'm hoping Amsterdam was a warm up) as it's my favourite song and is a rare treat.

Pure Magic!!
Flying out to Dublin from Glasgow for my 3rd U2 gig there after the phenomenal Elevation gig at Slane and the equally electric Vertigo gig at Croker!! Must admit I'm more excited at the prospect of 360 on Saturday night than I was with the other 2 combined, see everyone there!!!!

Rehersals
Bono - we have been rehersing in Barcelona, Paris, Nice ... Priceless. See you on Saturday night!
