U2, Gorillaz, Limp Bizkit and Craig David have each grabbed several nominations for November's MTV Europe Music Awards in Germany.
And U2.Com is among the five nominations for a new Web Award of best Web Site.
U2 are nominated for Best Group, Best Album, Best Rock Act and best Web Site - the same four nominations as Limp Bizkit.
Damon Albarn's Gorillaz tops the nominations table with are six possible winners: Best Group, Best New Act, Best Dance Act, Best U.K. Act, Best Song ('Clint Eastwood') and best web site. Craig David is nominated for Best Male Act, Best New Act, Best R&B Act and Best U.K. Act.
The MTV Europe Music Awards takes place at the Festhalle, Frankfurt on 8th November 2001 and will air live on MTV U.K. and Ireland with performances from Destiny's Child, Dido and Janet Jackson.
Apart from Best Video, all the awards are decided by fans - through online voting.
