The band are nominated in five categories:

Best Group Video
Best Video From A Film
Best Special Effects
Best Editing


Other performers tonight include Missy "Misdemeanor" Elliott; Ja Rule; Jay-Z; Alicia Keys; Linkin Park; Jennifer Lopez; *NSYNC and Britney Spears with U2 set to appear at the climax of the show.
