U2.COM Award for Supporting Debt Relief Campaign

U2.Com has been awarded the prestigious 'Online Pioneer' prize at the UK Online Music Awards.

The 'Online Pioneer' prize was in recognition of the work of U2.Com in supporting U2's efforts in the campaign to cancel the debts of the worlds poorest countries.

The awards, set up last year by Music Week, acknowledge the efforts and creativity of musicians in the online world and the creativity of music industry designers and programmers.

U2 support a number of different social and political campaigns and U2.Com carries information on many of them in our Hearts and Minds area.
