First, I wanna say I'm totally happy to know Bono is better :-) I went to Seatlle, once I had already paid the filght tickets and hotel last month....yes, I have the tickets to watch them there...then, I got extremely excited to know they already rescheduled the American tour. I'm from Brazil... and it was really hard to get everything arranged. But here I am ... anxious for next year!!!!

Glad to hear that Bono is recovering well and that you are all in good spirits! Like true artists you are diligently working on new music and that excites us all. Will we be fortunate enough to hear some of the new music on the North American tour? Don't get me wrong - love the old tunes - but an adjustment to the 360 tour setlist will be welcome (especially since we all own the 360 DVD and the concert is another year out). Long live U2.

I feel bad that Bono felt he needed to apologize for something that was likely unavoidable for him. I understand why he did. It must feel pretty weird for him to be at the center of grinding this huge tour mechanism to a halt, rippling through a lot of people's lives. However, I think we need to remember there are four human beings at the core of this movement, and there would be no tour if they didn't make the music in the first place. They are physically vulnerable, just like the rest of us. I work at a hospital, and I know that a compressed sciatic nerve is excruciatingly painful, and is serious business to repair and recover from. I don't think people realize the seriousness of his injury, and that other people might have not continued at this point, citing health reasons. Thanks, Bono, and U2 for continuing the tour.

I'll admit I was initially bummed about the postponement, but in the end it still worked out well. I decided to go ahead and go on my U2 tour for the summer with the planned trips to LA, Seattle, Denver and lastly New York next week. I choose cities to see the band based on where I have friends & family to see too, so I consider this a bonus vacation season. And good practice to choose nice hotels near the venues and figure out transportation. A practice tour, if you will. Yesterday was awesome as it started out with getting to know when I can see the band again. Thank you guys so much for the entertaining message! I'm so happy to hear you're well again, Bono. God, what a shock you gave us! Don't you ever do that again - either of you!! Now don't overdo your stage performance, Bono, we don't want you to go down again. I've loved your music - and you all - for 25 years.
