In another first, a worldwide live radio broadcast of the August 28th, RDS, Dublin show allowed an estimated 700 million fans around the globe to tune in with a very ZOO TV invitation to ‘Watch More Radio.'

The ZOO TV Tour is acknowledged as one of the most ambitious tours ever undertaken –  its influence is felt to this day - and established U2 as a band who have consistently pushed the boundaries of live performance, with ground-breaking stage shows that embrace the latest in technology and innovation.

LUV the release. Listened to this live about a billion times these 30+ years! The perfect performance really. Instant purchase but... does anyone else think that this "The Fly" (28/08/1993) is the best of the Zooropa tour? Why not put it? I don't know what you think, but it's my favourite version of the ZOO TV really (like for "Zoo Station", which fortunately there is!). Also is there any chance that the amazing Zoo INTRO is there too?

Why just 5 tracks??
I don't get it. $30 for a vinyl with only 5 songs on it? It's not like these had to be recorded in a studio -- these were recorded live more than 30 years ago. U2 have an enormous amount of live recordings -- fans want a lot more than this. How about a live anthology with concerts from every tour they've done? I'd pay hundreds for something like that, especially if it included access to both audio and video. And the single U2 show at the top of my list of full shows I want on audio/video: the November 8, 1987 show from Denver featured in Rattle and Hum (the one with Sunday Bloody Sunday on the day of the Enniskillen bombing).

Zoo TV | 11th August, Wembley Stadium
Reading about the concert in Glasgow on the Monday, ahead of a trip to Wembley on the Wednesday. An era when U2 were redefining what a concert was.

Zoo TV E.P
I've pre-ordered this as I was at the Birmingham, earl's court in '92 and and the wembley shows in '93. But I would of loved if it was the full show rather than an E.P. I just bought blur's live at wembley cd a couple of days ago and it's a fantastic memento of last year's show. But I do love my Achtung baby and Apollo shows CDs. Best wishes Mark

Catalogue releases
The EP will be great, but why not the entire concert? Hell, the deep dive into the singles are also great, but how about getting back to remastering and re-releasing your albums again in expanded editions starting with where you left off with Rattle and Hum… which is another story.

ZOO TV
I bought a bootleg CD while I was on holiday in Florence in 1994. Back then bootlegs were to come by, especially in Sydney Australia. I played that CD over and over and over, and still do. The boys were on fire that night. ‘What a night, what a show. Zooropa it’s all over’ but 30 years later it’s not all over. You didn’t come out here to watch TV, now did you?……

Good friends, Mexican dice and Blue Labe
I was at this concert. What a day. Stayed with friends in UCD Village. Just about remember the support acts. Still have the teeth marks on the side of my right hand to prove what a great day it was. Pretended to faint and was pulled into the Zoo pit. Fast forward to the Sphere December 1st 2023……a much more sober affair but just as memorable. Thanks for 40 years of fun and great music. Can’t wait for the new stuff.

Fantastic, but...
I think this is a great release, but would love it if they released the entire show from August 28. That live version of Ultraviolet is my favorite version of that song (which is also my favorite U2 song). What I'd give for an official release that included UV.

Great night in Cork followed up with Night 2 in Dublin (and Naomi Campbell).

Dublin’s Zoo 1993
This is a photo of my wife, then girlfriend Yvonne, sitting outside the RDS Dublin on the roadside before one of the Zoo Roos / Zoo TV concerts. We were there for both shows on 27 and 28 August 1993 - and one year later exactly celebrated our wedding on 27.08.1994 - so the good omens must have been with us! We had come down from County Tyrone. The atmosphere then was incredible, the weather was great and as usual when the boys were back in town they were on fire. Our stand out moments were two favourite cover songs for the one and only time we heard them live - Unchained Melody, and Can’t Help Falling in Love. It’s nostalgic and fantastic that the show is now being showcased with the new EP release.

First ever concert
This was my first ever concert. Listened to the bootleg about a million times afterwards. The perfect performance. Remember being totally being blown away from the Intro and Zoo Station and the Macphisto section. Have still got a set of Zoo stickers! Claim to fame- spoke to the Stereo MCs outside the crew restaurant and didn’t realise who it was until they got up on stage

Best release since a long time !
thank you guys !!

Naomi
I was standing about 5 feet behind Naomi Campbell for the show. Absolute goddess and great fun. Abiding memory of her zooming in on Adams d..k with the handycam when she went on stage .... ground breaking show
