Can’t Wait
I’m most excited to hear a new version of Every Breaking Wave. We already have an accostic version and the original. I wish Magnificent, Breathe, Gone, or Please would have been on here. I feel like these songs have been left behind by the band and would love to see them live again at some point.

Pop
Looking forward most to Dirty Day. Disappointed there’s nothing off Pop. Gone or Please would have been interesting

Two Hearts Beat As One
Sounds incredible on the audiobook, can't wait to hear the entire thing!
RVATOMMY
It's somewhere between September & Novem
October is an all time classic and just as relevant today as it was in 1981. Cheers y'all!

Interesting song list
I am most interested to hear the versions of the songs on the "Adam" list. That is a great group of songs that make me greatly intrigued by the idea of re-imagined versions. Of the others, I cannot wait to hear what U2 does with "Two Hearts Beat as One". What I would have liked is anything from NLOTH. That album is very strong lyrically and could have stood up to musical re-imagining.

Missing songs
Would love The Wanderer from Zooropa, which is also an under represented album on Songs of Surrender. Keen to hear Miracle Drug.

I’m super excited
I’m looking forward to most of the project but I think Stay (Far Away, So Close!) is the acoustic take I’m looking forward to most. I’ve always preferred it in its stripped down live interpretation. Songs that I really wish were on this project: Gone, Please, Staring at the Sun, Moment of Surrender, A Sort Of Homecoming, Ultraviolet (Light My Way)

So far I love what I listened. Looking forward to listen the rest of the tracks, I am sure it will be amazing!

Lemon
I can’t wait to hear Dirty Day reimagined and would have been so interesting to hear a stripped back Lemon or if I could get a second one Breathe. Can’t wait for the album.

The Electric Co
I'm glad to see many of my favorites included in the 40 but my 41st song would be The Electric Co. I love the Red Rocks version. It would've been interesting how that song would've been reimagined. Looking forward to hearing all the songs when they're released.

Surrender Can't Waits, and Songs that Co
The song I am most longing to hear reimagined is BAD, and a song that should have gotten this treatment should have been GONE.

U2SOS40
This'll be great looking forward to it so much. If I could pick a song or two to include I would have picked: North Star, Mercy, Wild Irish Rose and Woman Fish✌️

Audiobook
I was hoping all the songs from the audiobook would have made it, especially anything from NLotH. Hoping for a subscriber release with the songs from the book that didn't make it.

Can't wait : The Fly
Staring At The Sun - missing

Tomorrow
Tomorrow is another track I thought would have been included

Miss Sarajevo
Would have loved for 'Miss Sarajevo' and 'Your Blue Room' to have been on there, I love these 2 tracks. Would have also liked to hear more from Pop as the songs on that album are probably the furthest away from these stripped back versions - 'Mofo' or 'Discotecque' - not sure I can even imagine how these would sound reinterpreted. Always loved 'Original of the Species' too, shame it often gets overlooked live, and again here.

The Fly
I'm looking forward to hearing "The Fly" deconstructed and reimagined. As for songs that didn't make it to SOS, "Original of the Species" and "So Cruel" would have been good picks especially since they were rarely played live.

No Line on the Songs of Surrender
I would of liked anything from No Line... represented. 2 were on an initial list of some sort. The title track reimagined would of been my pick. I'm looking forward to hearing a couple of songs that I was never really a big fan of to begin with. Maybe this'll be my way to appreciate them. If God... & Miracle Drug are 2 of these for me. Cheers!

I Surrender
Can't wait to hear Until the End of the World. Wish we could hear Like A Song.

Please and/or Breathe
I would have loved to see just a little more love for Pop ... or ANY for No Line on the Horizon. But I'm not gonna nitpick — there's a lot of nice surprises that did make the cut!

If You Wear That Re-Imagined Dress

Goldeneye
Something new! Something fresh and surprising like Ahimsa, Boy falls from the sky, Mercy, Goldeneye, She´s a mystery, Mofo or Stateless. Hope a real new album will be released this year quickly followed by another one, like the Red Hot Chili Peppers did. We definitely need new songs, new albums, new directions.

Hello from New Zealand
It’s always exciting to get something new or in this case reimagined from my favourite band that I’ve been with since I was 12, 1980 after hearing Boy - way back back when. I’m actually looking forward to hearing all 40 tracks and very hard to think of one track that could’ve been added? I could choose so many to be honest, and you’re never going to be able to please everyone’s hopes but coming from New Zealand I could’ve chosen One Tree Hill obviously as it’s always been my #1 track as it has personal connection with the band with me. But after thinking about this question - my choice would be something a little different, like Scarlet, Rejoice, Numb, Seconds, Drowning Man etc etc etc…. But what I settled on is A Sort of Homecoming from The Unforgettable Fire, as I feel that’s what the band are giving us through doing these Reimagined versions on Songs of Surrender. All I can say is thank you for the library of my life and May long it continue. Much Aroha (Love) from Down under - New Zealand Always Forever Now Scott

Mystery to me
I am very excited about this release I I’ve been waiting to hear U2 in a acoustic setting for a long time That being said I am disappointed that not all the albums are being represented on SOS especially October I believe I fall down is a beautiful track that deserves a second look as well as Rejoice and With a shout NLOTH deserves to have at least one track on this release it’s a fantastic album The real mystery is why the band has not released mystery to me this would’ve been a perfect opportunity As much as I love the Roy Orbison version a full U2 version would be icing on the cake Well maybe when the band finally releases the Rattle and hum box set The fans will get the long-awaited version

Lemon
I love to hear the re-imagined version of Lemon that would be great.

41st song...
BAD. When I couldn't get my daughter off to sleep, this would be put on full volume and she was out like a light?! Now she's all grown up and recently survived breast cancer, this has been on loop a lot of times!
wishchris
Those days, days, days run away...
Looking forward to all reimagined tunes from 90's tracks, especially Dirty Day. Such an amazing and severely underplayed song that I know would resonate in any set for the next tour (soon!, PLEASE). Gotta go with something else from POP to be reinvented. I'd say Do You Feel Loved could be haunting. Please is perfection the way it is.
