'Wrote a song...'

20 Jan 201010
In an extended conversation with Dave Fanning of Ireland's 2FM, Edge dropped in that producer Swizz had called up.

'He and Jay-Z wanted to do something for Haiti. So Bono came up with the phrase on the phone and last night we were here, we wrote a song, finished, recorded, and sent it back to them.... so that might be the next thing you hear from us.'

Also worth a listen to hear Edge discuss plans for the next leg of the tour, the Glastonbury show and songs the band are writing.

Find the audio here here. (Click the 'listen back' button, in the pop-up window select the show on January 16th and scroll through to the 70 minute mark for the chat with Edge.)

the evening song
Now that has to be the record for the fastest song. You wrote, finished, recorded and sent it back. When you love what you do you will never have to work another day in your life. The Glastonbury tour sounds like it will be another great time. The Haiti situation is the talk of the town right now. Praying for that country. Have a great day and will look for you and the edge on Friday.
