Your 360° Moment

9 Nov 2009231
They performed for more than two hours playing up to 25 songs ... and every night they changed the set list. Your Blue Room might be in, Until The End of the World might be out. Pride might be in and Desire out. They kept us guessing.

But if you had to choose JUST ONE MOMENT from seeing U2 live in 2009 what would it be ?

Take a look back through the our Tour pages and check out the reviews, photos and videos. Bring it all back... then post your 360 Moment below.

Was it the super-funky rhythms of 'Crazy' with Larry wandering around the stage playing the djemba ?

Or the breathtaking stage choreography stage during Unforgettable Fire ?

The return of Ultraviolet or the latest reinvention of 'Sunday Bloody Sunday' ?

How about Walk On and the appearance of Aung San Suu Kyi on a thousand faces ?

Or the mysterious benediction of 'Moment of Surrender' at the end of the show ?

(We know you probably have loads of highlights, but we're just looking for ONE MOMENT.... and a sentence or two explaining why it was so memorable.)

Unforgettable Moments
I was on both Zagreb shows, what moment to write? More than two hours of joy, two different set lists, but the best thing was the feeling, that whole concert is like one breathe, so much passion, emotions..., maybe on Beutiful Day, when Bono talked Gundulic's (croatian poet) Dubravka's verses... Oh beutiful, Oh dear, Oh sweet freedom(Croatia)... on croatian... O lijepa, O draga, O slatka slobodo(Hrvatska)... tingling again!... See you all in Vienna next year... pozdrav iz Zagreba, Hrvoje

Well to start with, hearing Bowie open the show with Space Oddity, OMG, goosebumps. Then "Breathe" wow!! But my fav was "I'll go crazy if I don't go crazy tonight" it was unbelievable. Larry was right in front of me beating on the drum. I got some great video footage. And then of course being in the middle of the desert in Las Vegas, how awesome is that!!

4 unforgettable moments
Milan, July 8th. 4 love yells from my family made memorable that night. For me: between "Kingdom" and "Breathe", when I shout "Larryyyyyyyy" as soon as I saw him coming on the stage; For my older son: "Get on your boots", when he went out of control shouting "Out of heeeeead!" For my minor son: opening drums on "Sunday". I never heard him shouting for joy so much. For my wife: "Magnificent", when and I sang for her together with Bono "I was born to be with you"...

Dallas/Stuck in a moment
A week before the concert, my wife's mother had a head injury in a bicycle accident. We almost didn't make the concert but during Stuck in a Moment, Bono repeated the phrase "it's just a moment" multiple times at the end. The song went to a deep place for both of us that night. Also, at the end of Beautiful Day he sang a part of Blackbird. We were both emotionally raw that evening and truly enjoyed ourselves.

best moment
It's difficult to pick one favorite moment. I will say that I was very touched by Bono's rendition of AMAZING GRACE, leading into STREETS. It was unexpected, heart-felt and beautiful. I appreciate how the four of them allow each other's individualism to shine through. It culminates into an exciting collective. AND never under-estimate how fun it is when Adam, Larry and Edge move from their usual spots and come to say "hi." :-)

one moment
hardest thing ever to pick... for me there was Edges Guitar at the beginning of GOYB, Elevation, Space Station clip from In a Little While, the lights on Until the End of the World, and Unforgettable Fire - Vertigo was insane, Crazy Remix, and just a full fledge run to the finish from Sunday Bloody Sunday to MOS! Wow... or maybe its just that it was at the Rose Bowl... and I can watch it over and over...

Rose Bowl 10/25 Favorite
Favorite moment: To hear 96,000 people singing Amazing Grace with Bono just after "One" & right before "Streets Have No Name" was extremely moving! I also loved the clip from the International Space Station just before "In A Little While".

Berlin-Gelsenkirchen, so far
The Berlin concert was the greatest. Seeing U2 in that town, where so many really "special" songs had been written some twenty years ago was a blast! U2 and the audience were perfect! "Stay" was a gift! Gelsenkirchen was intense! The sound was not as good as in Berlin, but the audience was unbelievable! Edge blasting his amplifier, the crowd singing one more chorus to "Elevation"...unbelievable. See you in Frankfurt and Paris next year! One song, still on my wish list: "Original of the species!"

U2 in Chicago (for the thirty-fifth time
I was the 250th member of the US fan club. Been a huge fan since 1981 when I first heard them at a Boston show. I have seen them many times over the years, but it hit me Sept. 12th in Chicago- I have grown old with this band, their music and their ideology. U2 has shaped me more than any artistic/cultural entity in the world. So that night, while I sang along to 'Still Haven't Found', I got choked up thinking that these awesome moments don't happen very often in life. I've been lucky enough to have 35 of them with U2, but they are few and far between.

Amazing Grace
10/9/09 Tampa, Florida, USA 120,000 fans singing Amazing Grace with Bono as an intro to Where The Streets Have No Name. Absolutely. Breathtaking. Just a little taste of Heaven on earth.

Ultraviolet! I will never forget Bono walking on stage wearing the jacket with the red ligts. And then singing with the most intimate voice. He was truely a shining star in the middle of the darkness...

My Moment
My Favorite moment was during Until the End of the World when the Edge and Bono changed up their matador routine and used the bridges to musically battle!
Falling At Your Feet
My 360 Moment - Berlin
The Berlin gig, where Bono invited up 3 musicians from a Czech U2 Tribute Band onstage. They were holding signs up. They came onstage and they all played U2's instruments for Angel Of Harlem. 5 U2 360 shows to date for me, and that was my moment.

LONDON 14th
my unforgettable moment is when u2 came on the stage with a powerfull 'breathe' and 'ultraviolet' in the end of the show.it was the return of ACHTUNG BABY on your face

Cardiff singalong
To define one perfect moment is impossible where u2 is concerned, but for me it has to be when 75,000 voices (plus 4 more!) sang 'I still hav'nt found what i'm looking for' at the top of our lungs. Wonderfull life affirming moment. I wish I could thank the band in person for helping to shape my political conscience, for giving us such great music and being the proof that we are more than just crude matter, that we each are the colours that will bleed into one.

360 Moment
Favorite moment, would have to be the tail end of I'll Go Crazy If I Don't Go Crazy Tonight, where they would rock out and sing Two Tribes. Then the end where Larry pounds on the drums and they do the transition into Sunday Bloody Sunday. Magnificent!!!

BAD in Dublin
The best moment for me - hands down - was BAD at Dublin 3. Tears through the whole song. UV, Stay, UF and Unknown Caller also awesome. Then End of World and Mysterious Ways in Houston rocked!

U2 and Bowie
To start with Bowie and then the drums of Larry..... To hear your 2 favourite artists even it was only 1 song Not one soul couldn't make me more happy as I was then, 20 and 21 juli Amsterdam.

Unforgettable 360

moment ill never forget
U2 is obviously my favorite band in the world and ill never forget the moment the lights went off and the smoke began to come out of the stage. It was the most epic moment i've ever had, i was completely dwarfed by the amazing stage as well as the outstanding energy from the band. I felt like together the band and the audience would tear the walls of the stadium down in sheer energy
Edge_Orchestra
Stunning. Striking. Fantastic!
UltraViolet being back in the set is great. The LED jacket and light up wheel mic... all great stagecraft that go with a great song. Other moment? The return of The Unforgettable Fire. Great song. Album version is great but like most U2 songs, far better live. That said, it isn't all about the older songs. Breathe, Magnificent, Moment of Surrender... all very stunning. But Unknown Caller... that is the one for me, from the new batch of tunes. LOVE LOVE LOVE that song. And it's great to hear a stadium chant along to Unknown Caller too!
My 360 Moments
First impression : The ola going round the Olympiastadion in Berlin before even the first notes of Space Oddity. Bono going "Here Comes The Sun" after "Beautiful Day" and the sun making an apparition between the clouds just at THAT moment. Then, later that night in Berlin, the stadium literally shutting Bono up on "Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For". The Czech performing Angel of Harlem with Adam enjoying every minute of it. Stay Far Away So Close... Mysterious Ways with all arms going left and right.. Then Gelsenkirchen, where the crowd pushed Bono for a last a capella chorus of Elevation. The Edge's guitar incident on Vertigo. Stuck in a Moment which brought tears fo joy in my eyes. Those were my moments. I'd like to have more.
